This website is built and hosted on Wix. Certain services - including checkout, payment processing, analytics, and email marketing - may be supported by Wix or connected third-party providers, depending on the site's current configuration.

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that all artworks, prints, products, services, descriptions, dimensions, pricing, and availability displayed on this website are accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that all content is always complete, current, or error-free.

Because original artworks and handmade works are often unique, availability may change without notice. We reserve the right to update, modify, discontinue, or remove products or services at any time. Prices may be changed at any time without prior notice.

Shipping costs, taxes, import duties, or other applicable charges are not included unless explicitly stated. For international orders, customs duties, import taxes, and related charges may apply and remain the responsibility of the buyer.

3. Intellectual Property

All artworks, images, photographs, designs, text, and other content on this website are the intellectual property of Carita Ahonen / CA Studio, unless otherwise stated. All rights are reserved.

Nothing on this website may be reproduced, copied, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, or transmitted in any form or by any means - including electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise - without prior written permission from the artist.

Purchasing an artwork does not transfer copyright or any reproduction rights to the buyer. The artist retains all moral and intellectual property rights over all works.

4. Original Artworks - Special Conditions

Each original artwork is unique and sold as described. Dimensions, colours, and surface textures may vary slightly from photographs due to screen calibration and the nature of natural pigments, earth minerals, and biobased materials. These variations are inherent to the work and are not considered defects. All sales of original artworks are final. Returns or exchanges are not accepted unless the work arrives damaged (see Damaged Goods below).

5. Commissions

Commission terms are agreed in writing before work begins. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a commission slot. The balance is due upon completion and before shipment or handover. Commission terms may be discussed and agreed separately from these general Terms.

6. Payment

Payment is accepted through third-party payment providers. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the point of sale or displayed at checkout. All transactions are in euros (EUR) unless stated otherwise.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Artworks are carefully packed and shipped with tracking. Delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Once an order has been dispatched, risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services, customs procedures, or other factors outside our control.

8. Damaged Goods

If a work arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at the email address listed on this website. Please retain all original packaging and provide photographic evidence of both the damage and the packaging. We will work with you to find a fair resolution. Claims made after this period cannot be accepted..

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Carita Ahonen / CA Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or the purchase of any products or services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of this website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Finnish courts.
